Structure Fire on Little Farms Ave.
Spring of 1998 at 12 Midnight.

This was a 51S (Structure Fire) dispatched in the middle of the night. On arrival first unit in reported 10-26 (Working Fire) and heavy smoke. The fire consumed the back bedroom and Kitchen and had gotten into the attic. Everything three feet and above was melted in the  rooms near the fire area. It took 40 minutes to knock down the fire and about an hour to finish overhaul. First in crew reported very high heat inside the structure. During overhaul we learned that someone had blown in  insulation in the attic and had it piled from ceiling to roof , which held the heat inside the house.
